If you mean stops for water that you have planted ahead of time, then yes, it's possible. Otherwise your trips will be short.
Do you have a goal in mind for your trip, like seeing as much of the backcountry as you can, or maybe you just want to be away from the camprounds, or you want to explor a specific area?
