A long term quest for me, is finding what might be left of the *original* *Oh-Bay-Yo*. Local anthopology teacher says before Oh-Bay-Yo-Yo teens in the 1920's built Oh-Bay-Yo on the slopes of 49-Palms Valley, as an over night stopping place to their swimming excursions. I've searched to no avail, but am not giving up....its such a neat area up there....very remote too.
Maybe I can sucker Dan M. into searching with me when I'm out that way this coming spring??
